On behalf of the Latino Law Student Association at Hamline University School of Law, we would like to invite you to support the 10th Annual Juris Fiesta Gala Celebration.

Every year, Juris Fiesta brings together law students, faculty, professionals from the legal and business sectors, and the Latino community at large. The goal of the even is to raise funds to provide a scholarship for law students at Hamline University School of Law who demonstrate academic merit, community service, and commitment to promoting diversity. Thanks to generous support from donors and attendees like you, last year's event was a great success. Last year, the Latino Law Student Association was able to disabuse the sixth scholarship award based on the generous donations from local sponsors.

The 2014 Juris Fiesta Gala Celebration will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at The Venue Minneapolis, and is themed "Celebrating the past, Embracing the present, Planning the future." Hamline University School of Law is pleased to welcome Senator Melisa Franzen, co-founder of Juris Fiesta and current Minnesota State Senator for District 49 as our keynote spreaker for the 2014 Juris Fiesta Celebration. The Latino Law Student Association will also be honoring the Senator and her co-founder, Gloria Contreras Edin with a founders award for their hard work in founding this event a decade ago. As always, the evening will also include exquisite Latin cuisine from Boca Chica, dancing, and a mixture of prominent community leaders alongside promising young professionals.

We count on your support to strengthen our scholarship fund each year. Donations can be made int eh name of an organization, business, individual, or group of individuals. You can also support us by purchasing individual tickets to join us that evening. Please consider showing your support for Hamline University School of Law and its Latino student community either through sponsorship or by attending.

All proceeds from Juris Fiesta will go toward the expansion of the Latino Law Student Scholarship, the only one of its kind among Minnesota law schools.

Thank you for your support and commitment in the ongoing effort to promote diversity, scholarship, and building strong legal foundations within Hamline and the greater community.

    $25 - Hamline Law Students
$25 - Guest tickets for dues paying Hamline LLSA members
