MHBA Mentorship Program & Reception

  • 09 Oct 2013
  • 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Hamline University School of Law, Anderson Center

The Mentorship Program provides students with the resources to succeed as law students and future attorneys in the Minnesota legal community. First, the MHBA Mentors Program provides students with the opportunity to learn more about the Latino/a legal community in Minnesota. Second, the valuable relationships that are formed will help students in their present and future job searches. Third, students are afforded the opportunity to have their resumes and writing samples reviewed by their mentors. Lastly, students have the option of having mock interviews in preparation for job interviews.

If you are interested and have not yet sent Leah Mathews (MHBA student representative) an email, please take a couple of minutes to send her an email by October 1, 2013 answering the following simple questions (both attorneys and students):

1. Name

2. Law School Attended/attending

3. Area of employment/interest

4. Employer (Attorneys only)

5. Whether you will be attending the reception on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 6:00pm at Hamline University School of Law

If you are interested in participating in the program but cannot attend, please still send Leah an email and she will match you with a mentee or mentor.

If you have any further questions, please contact Leah Mathews at lmathews01@hamline.edu.
