Nilan Johnson Lewis is a firm with an innovative, team-based approach to the practice of law.  We seek people who are dedicated to building the strongest possible law firm through deep and unique partnerships with clients.  If you seek a professional atmosphere with a culture that emphasizes excellence in every interaction, superior client service, and collaboration, our Firm is for you.

Our Labor & Employment group has an opportunity for a 2-6 year associate/special counsel to assist in all areas of a management-side practice, including class and single-plaintiff employment litigation defense, counseling and preventive advice, restrictive covenant and trade secret work, and labor relations.

This is a great opportunity to become part of a talented team.  We are looking for a highly motivated individual to help deliver excellent service to our clients.  Exceptional research and writing abilities and analytical skills required.  Academic credentials will be weighed along with other indicators of ability, motivation, and initiative.  Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills along with experience in, or readiness for, direct client contact.  Must be admitted to practice in Minnesota (or eligible).  Admission in California, or interest in obtaining such admission, is preferred, as is clerkship experience and/or one to three years’ practice in employment law.
