St. Paul City Attorney's Office - Part Time Year Round Law Clerk


The Saint Paul City Attorney's Office is accepting applications for a part-time law clerk in its Civil Litigation Division. This position requires approximately 20 hours of work per week year round.


Duties include: Legal research and writing, drafting memoranda, document preparation, and other general clerking duties are also expected.


Qualification: All candidates must have completed at least one year of law school and have strong research and writing skills. We are looking for law students who expect to graduate in 2016 or later. We are looking for an individual who has excellent academic credentials, strong analytical and communications skills, and a demonstrated potential for public service. Proficiency in the use of Westlaw and/or other computer-assisted research programs is required. Completion of a clinical or other practical skills course is also desired.
