Job Responsibilities To provide legal research for the preparation of legal advice for County officials, department heads and employees and in support of litigation involving the County. To draft memoranda, pleadings, and similar documents to be used as the basis for legal advice issued by the County Attorney’s Office to County officials, department heads and employees and in connection with litigation involving the County. To assist with trial preparation. To represent the County in district court cases as a Certified Student Attorney under the supervision of an assistant county attorney. To perform other miscellaneous task as requested by the County Attorney or an assistant county attorney.
