Training 101 Series: Domestic Violence
February 25 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
hursday, February 25, 11:00 am – 12:15 pm
This training is the first in our new training series covering fundamental practice areas in legal aid. These trainings are for both new hires and experienced legal aid staff that are interested in learning about where other legal areas may overlap with their current practice.
We will begin our series with a training focusing on best practices for working with survivors of domestic violence. The session will address how to identify domestic violence and deepen your understanding of the impacts of domestic violence. Our trainers will review how domestic violence intersects with other practice areas like housing, public benefits, and family law.
