The Travelers Companies, Inc., the only property-casualty insurance company
listed on the Dow Jones Industrial Average, is seeking a law clerk to work in its
Legal Services department, which is located in downtown St. Paul.

As a law clerk, you will research and analyze federal and state case law,
statutes, and regulations involving a wide variety of legal topics related to
insurance coverage, including corporate securities, banking and corporate
regulation, intellectual property, international compliance, cyber security, and
corporate risk management. In this role, you will build critical legal research,
writing, and analytical skills and collaborate with experienced attorneys in
advising internal business clients.

The position is full time during the summer of 2023 and part-time throughout the
2023-24 school year. During the school year, you will have the opportunity to
work between 15 and 25 hours a week, depending on your availability. The pay
will be $25 an hour. 

Prior experience in insurance is preferred, but not required.
Travelers offers a hybrid work schedule which allows you to work at the
downtown St. Paul office three days per week and work remotely two days per
week.
