(illegal suppression of competition from generic pesticide manufacturers through branded manufacturers use of “loyalty programs”); and the investigation of the proposed merger of Fairview Health Services and Sanford Health.

This position offers engaging, interesting, and fulfilling work.  The attorney division manager is responsible for overseeing the work of the division, including balancing the staffing needs of various investigations and cases with the interests of AAGs in particular subjects and industries.  The attorney division manager is also tasked with management of the professional development of the division’s AAGs, and ensuring ongoing training, leadership opportunities, and mentorship opportunities to support their growth.

If you are offered this position, you can expect to have a great deal of responsibility for and control over your daily work while also working with teams of attorneys who complement each other.  The division’s attorneys are all expected to manage their caseloads to ensure matters are moving expeditiously and to engage in public education and outreach to impacted communities, stakeholders, and advocates.

This position offers engaging, interesting, and fulfilling work well suited to the experience level and interests of individual AAGs.  The Office strives to balance the staffing needs of various consumer protection matters with the interests of AAGs in particular subjects and industries.  AAGs are encouraged to take on more responsibility as their careers progress, and will receive ongoing training, leadership opportunities, professional development, and mentorship opportunities to support their growth.  If you are offered this position, you can expect to have a great deal of responsibility for and control over your daily work and will be expected to manage your caseload to ensure matters are moving expeditiously.  A successful candidate in this position must be detail-oriented, creative, a problem solver, have a strong initiative and work ethic, and enjoy working within a fast-paced team-oriented community.  A commitment to public service work and to being a great consumer protection and false claims attorney is a must!
